KABELLOS comprises a modular transmission system for the transmission of energy- and information in specific applications of cable and strand machine manufacturing.
Especially in rotational speed control, KABELLOS brings advantages: When forwarding incremental sensor signals, alternatives like abrasive rings intermit from time to time. Problems of this character do not even occur with an inductive transfer of electrical signals.
A specially developed packaging for the individual modules guarantees the possibility of integrating the individual transmission modules within the machine. The housing and thus also the transmission system can be used in other cable and stranding machine applications using appropriate adapter modules.
Thanks to the modular system structure, various information, such as PROFIBUS signals, analog and digital signals and encoder signals, can be transmitted. The main module forms an energy transmission of a small power to be transmitted (up to 100 W) at 24V DC. The data transmission modules can be combined with this main module as required.
